India has recalled its diplomats from Canada and expelled Canadian diplomats from the country. Now amidst all this tension, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given such a statement which has become a topic of discussion. PM Modi has said that India does not believe in ‘light’ relations.
What did PM Modi say?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the NDTV World Conference on Monday that India does not believe in ‘light’ relations and the world is also realizing that the foundation of a country’s relations is based on trust and credibility. However, PM Modi did not make any direct mention of the incidents related to Canada in his address.
The world is happy with our progress- PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India does not take relationships for granted. The foundation of our relationships is based on trust and credibility. And the world is also understanding this. India is a country whose progress brings prosperity to the world. In the conference, PM Modi said that when India moves forward, there is no feeling of jealousy and envy. The world is happy with our progress. Because the whole world will benefit from India’s progress.

In the conference, PM Modi also mentioned the supply of vaccine from India during the Corona period. PM Modi said that the world feels that India is a friend in times of crisis.
