India achieved great success in missile development field

India has achieved a major success in the field of missile development today. India today tested the scumjet engine in the field of Next Generation Station Hyperconic Missile. The scumjet engine was tested today. The ground test of scumjet engine is considered important in the development of hypersonic weapon technology. It was tested for about one thousand seconds. Defense Research and Development Labrotary first performed a ground test of the active cooled scramjet engine for such a long period. The test was conducted at the Scramjet Connect Test Facility Center in Hyderabad. With this test, India has now joined countries like America, Russia, China, which has successfully tested the scramjet engine.

In fact, the Defense Research and Development Organization ie DRDO’s Hyderabad -based Defense Research and Development Laboratory i.e. DRDL has achieved a major achievement in the field of hypersonic weapons technology. On 25 April 2025, a long -term ground test of active cooled scamjet subscale combuster was successfully conducted for more than 1000 seconds in the newly constructed state -of -the -art scamjet connect test facility in Hyderabad. Let us know that it was earlier tested in January 2025 for 120 seconds. With the success of this test, this system will soon be ready for full -scale flightable combuster testing.

What is hypersonic cruise missile

Raja Babu, Director DRDL congratulated Dr. GA Srinivas Murthy and the entire team for more than 1,000 seconds for state -of -the -art technologies displaying supersonic combustion.
