Firing on LoC
Pakistani troops opened fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara and Baramulla districts of Jammu and Kashmir late on Thursday evening, which was effectively responded by the Indian Army. Pakistan targeted the Boniyar sector of Baramulla and Tangdhar sector in Kupwara district but no casualties were reported yet. The Pakistan Army opened fire across the Line of Control near Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri and Akhnoor sectors in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night.

Pakistani troops started firing after the Indian Army attacked a terrorist hideout in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) under ‘Operation Sindoor’. After this firing, most of the civilian population in Karnah region went to safe areas on Wednesday.
