Amid the ongoing military conflict between India and Pakistan, the administration on Saturday issued a consultation in Kutch, Gujarat, asking the citizens to stay inside the houses and not to exclude unnecessarily.
The Indian armed forces thwarted Pakistan’s drone attacks in Kutch on Friday night and ‘blackout’ was done in two other districts of Kutch and Gujarat, after which the administration issued this consultation.
The District Magistrate of Kutch wrote on the official ‘X’ account of the administration on Saturday morning, “All citizens should stay inside the houses. Do not get out unnecessarily from homes and do not pay attention to any rumor. Do not panic. ”
The army said on Friday that the district headquarters Bhuj is one of the 26 places located near the Line of Control with Pakistan and the international border where drones were seen.
‘Blackout’ was done in Kutch district and power supply was disrupted in some areas of Banaskantha and Patan districts located near the India-Pakistan border. He said that ‘blackout’ was done in some villages bordering Santalpur taluka of Patan.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met officials of the armed forces on Friday and assured them that he would not have to face any difficulty in campaigning in the state.
After a conversation in Gandhinagar on Friday, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi said that the purpose of this meeting was to establish better coordination between the government departments and the active armed and paramilitary forces in the state.
He said that senior employees of various departments including police and district collectors of border districts and officials of Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Security Force and Coast Guard attended the meeting.
