Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that India gives great importance to its long and historical relations with Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that in recent years the relationship between the two countries has intensified and gained momentum at strategic levels.
In his departure statement before Saudi Arabia’s two -day visit to Saudi Arabia’s Wali Ahad (Crown Prince) Mohammed bin Salman, Modi said that the two countries have developed mutually beneficial and concrete partnership in the areas of relations between defense, trade, investment, energy and people.
Modi said, “We have had shared interest and commitment to promote regional peace, prosperity, security and stability.” He said that this will be his third and historic city of Jeddah in the country.
He said that he is eager to attend his visit to Mohammed bin Salman in 2023 after his highly successful state visit and the second meeting of the ‘Startjic Partnership Council’.
Modi used “Mere Bhai” address for Wali Ahad Salman.
He said that he is also eager to join the Indian community in Saudi Arabia, which is working continuously as a lively bridge between the two countries and makes a huge contribution in strengthening cultural and human relations.
