New Delhi. India has expressed a small but strong reaction to the statement given by Canadian PM Justin Trudeau in the Foreign Interference Commission. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that the responsibility for the damage this careless behavior caused to the relations between India and Canada lies solely with PM Justin Trudeau. India’s Ministry of External Affairs criticized the behavior of Justin Trudeau, saying that Canada has failed to present any evidence on the allegations against India. The Foreign Ministry has said on Trudeau’s statement that what we heard confirms our point that Canada has not presented any evidence on the serious allegations made against India and Indian diplomats.
Earlier, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, while testifying in the commission investigating foreign interference on Wednesday, had admitted that India did not provide evidence in the case of the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Trudeau said his government told India it had intelligence information about this. Trudeau acknowledged that when Canada asked India to investigate Nijjar’s murder, evidence was sought. Earlier Justin Trudeau never said that he gave any evidence to India. Whereas, every time Justin Trudeau made allegations, India’s side said that we have asked Canada for irrefutable evidence in the Nijjar murder case and it is not being given. Listen to the confession of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau that he did not provide any evidence even when India asked, because he only had intelligence information.
#WATCH “…Their (India) asks of us was, well, how much do you know? Give us the evidence you have on this. Our response was, well, it’s within your security agencies, you should be looking into how much they know… At that point, it was primarily intelligence, not hard… pic.twitter.com/WpDcHIDVSi

Justin Trudeau’s government had recently declared Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Verma and other diplomats as persons of interest in the Nijjar murder case. India reacted strongly to this and recalled the Canada-based High Commissioner and 5 diplomats. Along with this, India had also expelled the Acting High Commissioner of Canada and 5 other diplomats. After this, news came that Justin Trudeau spoke to British PM Keir Starmer against India. At the same time, America took the side of Trudeau and said that India should work together with Canada in this matter, but it took a different path. Let us tell you that Canada, Britain, America, Australia and New Zealand are members of the Five Eyes organization and Trudeau has earlier claimed that this organization had gathered intelligence in the Nijjar murder case.
