India Stops Water to Pakistan: India stopped the water of Chenab river going to Pakistan at Bagalihar Dam, according to sources, preparations to stop the water from Kishanganga Dam, India stops chenab water flowing to pakistan preparaing to stop jhelum river too

New Delhi. India has stopped the water of Chenab River in Jammu and Kashmir at Bagalihar Dam. Along with this, the Kishanganga dam on the Jhelum river is also planning to stop water. The newspaper The Times of India has given this news quoting sources. The Bagihar Dam is in Ramban, Jammu. Whereas, Kishanganga Dam is in North Kashmir. Pakistan is going to have a major water shortage due to closure of both dams. Pakistan has already raised questions on the Bagihar dam and asked the World Bank to mediate. At the same time, about the Kishanganga dam, Pakistan says that this affects the flow of water in the Neelam river.

India is also preparing to stop the water of Jhelum from Kishanganga Dam in Kashmir.

After the terrible terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India postponed the Indus Water Treaty from Pakistan. Under this treaty, Pakistan has been getting water from 5 rivers including Indus. The Indus Water Treaty took place between India and Pakistan in 1960. Now India is not even informing Pakistan about the flow of water in all these 5 rivers. In the past, India suddenly left the water of the Jhelum river. Due to this, slight floods were also seen in some areas of Pakistan. PM Narendra Modi already says that it is not possible to flow water and blood together in view of the attacks of Pakistan -dominated terrorists. Because of this, this time India has postponed the Indus Water Treaty.

At the same time, Pakistan leaders are furious with India’s decision to postpone the Indus Water Treaty. Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has said that if India built a dam on the Indus river, it will be attacked. At the same time, Pakistan People’s Party President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has threatened that if the water in the Indus stops, the bleeding will flow. Pakistan’s ambassador to Russia has also threatened that Pakistan can use nuclear weapons against India in war. There is tremendous tension in India and Pakistan at this time. PM Modi has clearly stated that India will not spare the terrorists who killed tourists in Pahalgam and their masters under any circumstances.
