New Delhi. India has signed another big defense deal with America. India will buy 31 Predator drones from America. Arrangements for their overhaul, repair and maintenance will be made in India itself. America will get Rs 32000 crore from India to buy Predator drone. Of the total 31 Predator drones, 15 will be delivered to the Indian Navy. Of the remaining 16 drones, 8 each will be given to the Indian Army and Indian Air Force. This will create new problems for China and Pakistan.
Predator drone is manufactured by American company General Atomics. Through these drones, the enemy can be monitored for a long time and from a great height. Besides, the enemy can also be attacked by installing Hellfire missiles in them. Predator drone deal has been signed between the governments of India and America. In such a situation there will be no middlemen and corruption will not take place. A team of army and company officers from America came to India to sign the deal to purchase Predator drones.
The Government Committee on Defense Affairs had given the green signal to the deal to purchase Predator drones from America just a few weeks ago. The issue of purchase price of Predator drone was under discussion between India and America for a long time. It is believed that recently, when PM Narendra Modi went to America for the Quad conference, the final decision on the purchase of Predator drone was taken in talks with President Joe Biden. It is being told that Predator drones received from America will be deployed in Chennai, Porbandar, Sarsawa and Gorakhpur. This will greatly strengthen the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force against China and Pakistan. Let us tell you that America had killed Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri and Iran’s army commander Qasim Sulemani with the Hellfire missile fitted in the Predator drone. India is already using some such unarmed drones on lease for surveillance purposes for the Navy.
