According to ANI, the fresh deal for the purchase of Igla-S missiles has been made for Rs 260 crore. The news agency has reported that the Igla-S missiles have been given to the soldiers posted on the Pakistan border. India already had the Igla missiles made in Russia, but the Igla-S missile found in the latest consignment is very advanced than them.
Igla-S kills a very short distance. Their firepower is 6 kilometers. Igla-S is fired by placing it on the shoulder. Apart from the Igla-S missiles from Russia, his launchers have also met under this deal. The Indian Army has earlier asked indigenous companies to supply a very short distance air missiles. For this, companies will soon file tender. The Indian Army is going to buy 90 missiles and 48 launchers in this deal. Seeing the war of war with Pakistan, the Indian Army has also deployed a drone dropping system on the border and the LoC. Apart from this, the S-400 missile defense system taken from Russia has also been deployed to demolish missiles and aircraft.
