Information has been given by the Embassy for Indian expatriates in Oman. The Indian Embassy in Muscat has issued important updates for Indian applicants. An update has been issued by the Embassy regarding passport, Emergency Certificate (EC), and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) services.
Services will be banned for some time
The Embassy has informed that passport related services will be banned from 4 October 2024, 20:00 IST to 6 October 2024, 18:00 IST. This decision has been taken due to system upgrade. Therefore, people should apply accordingly.
It has been informed by the Embassy that all passport related services will be stopped for some time. It has also been said that all visa related services will remain operational and no restrictions have been imposed on it.
Travel with valid documents
All persons are advised to travel with valid passport, visa and other documents. Security officers are present at the entry point who check all these documents.
