An Indian citizen has been arrested on charges of smuggling gold at Indira Gandhi International Airport. According to the information received, the accused had tried to smuggle gold in a very clever way but the authorities have arrested him.
The accused came from Bahrain
According to the information received by the officials in this case, the accused had come from the Gulf country Bahrain. Customs officials of IGI Airport say that 931 grams of gold has been recovered from the accused, the value of which has been fixed at Rs. 64.27 lakh. The accused has been arrested under the Customs Act, 1962. The accused was bringing the gold hidden in a vacuum cleaner.

The officers are equipped with new technology and immediately arrest the accused who are trying to smuggle. No matter how cleverly the accused try to smuggle, they are arrested due to the new equipment.
