According to the proposal of the Railway Board, there will be no increase in the price of second class general train ticket for 500 km. Indian Railways has decided to increase half the money every kilometer on a journey of more than 500 km on second class general ticket. Apart from this, the fares of other categories have also been changed by the Railways from July 1. The Railway Board has sent this new fare proposal to the Ministry of Railways. The new fare will be implemented if the green signal is given from there.
According to the information, it has been proposed to increase by 1 paise per kilometer in the fare of without coach with AC and express trains. A proposal has been sent by the Railway Board to give 2 paise more per kilometer for taking the ticket of AC coach of the train. Indian Railways has proposed not to increase any fare in all cities of the country, including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, which run all urban trains. The Railway Board has also not increased the price of the monthly season ticket. Due to this, there is no additional burden on the pockets of those traveling daily.

Railways had told that if a passenger buys a ticket of Rs 54, then he covers a distance equal to Rs 100.
