Recently, Dubai’s famous restaurant Goan Grubshack has closed forever. This restaurant was started by hard work in 2012 by Indian -origin woman Jemma Maskaren’s. But now his restaurant has stopped forever. Suddenly, due to the closure of the restaurant, Jamma became so upset that she suffered a heart attack after which she had to be admitted to the Emergency.
Jemma Maskaren’s daughter Marushka Koelo said that it was not just a shop, but her mother’s entire life, a legacy. Marushka says that Grubshack started with 12 seats but due to home such as food and Goan dishes, it became a Cult Favourite in Dubai. Korona and a bad business deal put him in a financial crisis and had to shut down on 30 June 2025.
But Marushka has promised that she will reopen this restaurant, because it is now not only her mother’s dream but her “heart project”. If someone wants to invest, then they are ready for it.
