New Delhi. Today the entire country is celebrating its 76th Republic Day with pride. A grand ceremony was organized on the path of duty in the capital Delhi, where President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the program by hoisting the national flag. Bravery of Indian Armed Forces shown in parade
The theme of this year’s Republic Day Parade was ‘Always moving towards a developed India’. The tableau of veterans of the Indian Armed Forces reflected the country’s progress and self-reliance. In the parade, CRPF’s brass band performed to the tune of ‘Desh Ke Hum Hain Rakshak’. This band consisted of 51 male and 49 female musicians.
The ‘Corps of Signals’ led a spectacular march in the parade under the leadership of Captain Ritika Khareta. Apart from this, the bands of Sikh Light Infantry, Bihar Regiment, and Ladakh Scouts created an atmosphere of patriotism. Contingents of the Brigade of the Guards, Jat Regiment, and Garhwal Rifles also participated in the parade.

The BrahMos missile, Pinaka multi-launcher rocket system, Akash weapon system, and other indigenous armored vehicles were displayed in the parade. These equipment, developed under the Self-reliant India initiative, are symbols of Indian military power and self-reliance.

This time, the 190-member band and marching contingent of the Indonesian Military Academy (Akamil) also made their presence felt. His presentation further strengthened Indian and Indonesian friendship.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that Republic Day is an opportunity to further strengthen democratic values. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the martyrs at the National War Memorial. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also hoisted the flag and extended greetings on Republic Day.
