New Delhi. The press briefing of DG Operations of the three armies of India was held on Operation Sindoor. Meanwhile, Indian Army Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that our air defense system stood as a shield in front of Pakistan’s missiles and drones. It is not in Pakistan’s bus to distinguish our air defense system. With this, he gave advice to Pakistan by giving the example of cricket.

DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that when I was in school in the 1970s, the famous Ashes series was going on between England and Australia. The then Australian veteran fast bowlers Jeff Thomson and Dennis Lily wreaked havoc on the English batsmen. Australians took out a saying ‘from ash to ash and dust to dust, if Thomo does not catch you, Lily will definitely catch you.’ General Ghai pointed out that if you see it closely, you will understand what I mean. He asked for Pakistan that even if he crossed all the systems, he will definitely drop some system of our layered grid before reaching his target.

However, he also said that today, perhaps we should also talk about cricket. I saw that Virat Kohli had retired from Test cricket. Like many Indians, he is one of my favorite cricketers. DGMO General Ghai said that we clearly had an idea that Pakistan would attack from across the border. That is why we had already prepared our air defense. We integrated into the counter-air missile system, electronic war equipment and air defense weapons in our reserves, making a unique mixture with similar systems of the Indian Air Force. This is the reason that when the Pakistani Air Force continuously attacked our airports and logistics establishments on the night of 9 and 10 May, they failed in front of our strong air defense grid.
