An Indian Army official said on Saturday that Pakistan’s claim to destroy India’s S-400 air defense system in Adampur by hypersonic missiles fired from Pakistani JF-17 fighter jets is “false”.
Pakistan’s official ‘PTV’ had earlier reported that Pakistan Air Force hypersonic missiles destroyed the S-400 system in Adampur.
Recently, Pakistan claimed that it has destroyed India’s very modern and powerful S-400 air defense system in an attack, but the defense officials of India have dismissed the claim outright, saying the news is completely false and baseless. Defense officials clearly say that the S-400 system has not been damaged and it is completely safe. He said that this is just a “fake news” which is being spread without any basis.
What is S-400 system?
The S-400 is a modern missile defense system purchased from Russia, which can destroy the enemy missiles and fighter aircraft in the air from far away. India has bought this system to further strengthen its air security.
This claim of Pakistan is also being discussed on social media. Some people are telling it a fabricated story, while some consider it an attempt to gain a cheap popularity. No picture or information has been revealed by India so far any loss related to the S-400 system.
