Employees of two shops ‘Kohinoor’ and ‘Ever this’ located at the entrance of Bab Al Bahrain in Manama were surprised when Indian MPs suddenly came to this historic market area of ’Manama Suk’.
The owner of ‘Kohinoor’ is an Indian while Pakistani employees operate ‘Evershine’.
The all -party delegation led by Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MP Baijayant Jai Panda reached this prestigious area on Saturday evening amidst the busy schedule of meetings in Bahrain as part of the Pahalgam attack and ‘Operation Sindoor’ to reach the world. During this, MPs spoke to some people and also took pictures.
An Indian employee of ‘Kohinoor’ said, “(All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader Asaduddin) was nice to see people like Owaisi and I took a selfie.”
The Pakistani employees of ‘Everchine’ were also shocked and curious.
One of them an employee said, “We have come here to work, we do not really know what politics is happening in our country.”
Both these shops usually work closely with each other.
A wider diplomatic mission continues in the background of this trip. As part of India’s diplomatic efforts, seven delegations are traveling to 33 capitals from countries around the world to especially keep their point in the international community about India’s reaction to terrorism and Pakistan’s intention in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
India wants to tell the Muslim world that it is not just a fight between two countries but is part of the major challenge of global terrorism.
This is the reason why some members of the delegation are influencing the similarities between the ‘Takfi’ ideology ‘ideology’ ideology of groups like ISIS and India facing terrorism.
Takfiri means to declare someone as a religious or a Kafir to justify violence.
Owaisi said, “There is no difference between these terrorist organizations of Pakistan and ISIS. We must remember this. This is a threat to the whole of humanity and we have to end it … They have used religion to justify the killing of people and the whole world knows that Islam has condemned terrorism.
He said, “The Quran has clearly stated that killing an innocent person is like killing the entire humanity, the Quran has not spoken of killing an innocent ‘Muslim’, but has said that killing an innocent ‘person’ is equal to the murder of the entire humanity.”
India is trying to convince Muslim -dominated countries that just because Pakistan is a Muslim -majority country, it cannot be blamed against India for its acts.
The all -party delegation is interacting with major government and political personalities in the countries of West Asia and is also making concrete efforts to join Indian migrants to shape the discourse.
After addressing a gathering at the Indian Embassy in Bahrain, Panda said, “Indian migrants have become one of the most influential communities, they represent India’s ‘soft power’ and we want to explain to them about some points so that they can help them pursue them.”
There are about 3.5 lakh Indians living in Bahrain, while the number of Pakistanis living and working in this country is about half.
Addressing a gathering, Panda said, “The Prime Minister has made it clear that we will talk only on two issues as they have illegally occupied.” When we became independent, different parts went to different countries Pakistan, India and the British made a system. ”
He said, “Jammu and Kashmir signed and came to us under that system. Pakistan illegally captured. We have been talking since then. War and interaction and war and terrorist attacks … Therefore, we will negotiate only two issues with Pakistan. Pakistan -occupied Kashmir return and stop terrorism. ”
Panda said, “They will have to take action against the terrorists who are working openly from their land.”
Through these conversations and meetings, the delegation also aims to shape the views of prominent members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) about the perspective of India.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, “We are explaining with full clearness about who is treating minorities in his countries.” After independence, India’s Muslim population was nine percent or 10 percent. Now it is about 20 percent and on the other hand, the minority Hindu population in Pakistan was 13 percent and now it is one percent. Pakistan is behaving badly with its minorities and is also affecting India through terrorism. ‘
Apart from Panda, Owaisi and Dubey, former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, former chairman of the National Commission for Women and Rajya Sabha member Rekha Sharma are also among the members of the delegation.
