Indian Army warns Pakistan
In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the operation vermilion was carried out by India, attacking terror in Pakistan. After the tension arising between the two countries, the ceasefire was agreed between India and Pakistan on May 10 to avoid military conflict which will remain. There was an agreement between the Director General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan (DGMO) last week to stop military action. Regarding this, the Indian Army has clearly told Pakistan that there is no ‘expiry date’ of the ceasefire, if the ceasefire is violated then it will be difficult. The Indian Army gave this information on Sunday.
Ceasefire announced on 12 May
This clarification from the Indian Army came after reports when reports in the media were that the consent between the two armies to stop the military action is ending this evening and 18 will be held on 18 and there will be talks between the Director General of the two countries. Explain that the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan had agreed to stop all military actions on 12 May. The consent was mainly formed for two days when the DGMOs of the two countries interacted on the hotline on 10 May.
There is no expiry date of ceasefire
The Indian Army said in a brief statement on Sunday, “As far as the decision taken in the DGMO’s conversation on May 12 is concerned, there is no termination date for the ceasefire. It has no termination date.” No “DGMO talks” on Sunday is not scheduled, as reported in the media. Let us know that after the four -day struggle between India and Pakistan, it was agreed to stop military action on May 10. During the four-day tension, the two countries targeted each other’s military establishments with drones, missiles and long distance weapons, causing the possibility of widespread war and then the two countries announced the ceasefire by taking effective steps.
DGMO talks every Tuesday
Every Tuesday, between the arrangements created after the consent between India and Pakistan, the DGMOs of the two countries talk through the hotline and this is an established system. In such a situation, it is expected that on Tuesday i.e. May 20, there may be a next round of talks between India and Pakistan regarding the ceasefire.
