New Delhi. Today the whole country is celebrating its 76th Republic Day with pride. A grand ceremony was organized on the duty path in the capital Delhi, where President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the program by hoisting the national flag. On this occasion, he was given 21 cannon salutes. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were also present in the program. This time the chief guest of Republic Day is Indonesia President Prabovo Subianto.

In the 6th Republic Day parade, the union territory Chandigarh presented a tableau to celebrate a mixture of tradition and modernity under the theme “Sundar City”. Chandigarh, known for its well-planned urban plan, greenery and unique architecture, attracts global tourists and serves as a major film shooting center.

The bravery of the Indian armed forces shown in the parade
This year the theme of the Republic Day parade was ‘forever forward towards developed India’. The tableau of the Indian armed forces veterans showed the progress and self -reliance of the country. In the parade, the Brass band of CRPF performed to the tune of ‘Desh Ki Hum Hain Rakshak’. The band consisted of 51 male and 49 female musicians.
In the parade, ‘Corps of Signals’ led by Captain Ritika Khreta conducted a brilliant march. Apart from this, the band of Sikh Light Infantry, Bihar Regiment, and Ladakh Scouts created an atmosphere of patriotism. Brigade of the Guards, Jat Regiment, and Garhwal Rifles troops also participated in the parade.
Performing indigenous weapons
The parade performed the BrahMos missile, Pinaka multi-blanket rocket system, sky weapon system, and other indigenous armored vehicles. These devices developed under the self -sufficient India initiative are a symbol of Indian military power and self -sufficiency.
Foreign parties participation in parade
This time the 190 -member band and marching team of the Indonesian military academy also made their presence felt. His presentation further strengthened Indian and Indonesian friendship.
Leaders gave best wishes
Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that Republic Day is an opportunity to further strengthen democratic values. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the martyrs at the National War Memorial. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also hoisted the flag and greeted Republic Day.
