IndiGo Airlines announced the operator of the new flight stating that the aircraft will be started soon for Oman’s Muscat. According to the airline, direct flight will be served from Kannur to Muscat.

Airline officials say that with the introduction of flight operations between this Malabar Region and Gulf country, passengers will get better connectivity facilities. Three aircraft will be served on this route. It will be provided flight service on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Passengers will get a direct flight for Muscat from Kannur International Airport.
Kannur Airport is serving flights for about 11 airports in the Gulf countries. This includes cities like Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Dubai and Muscat. A large number of Indian workers live in Oman, this is a relief news for them.
