Indigo plane going to Lucknow received threat to bomb
In view of the bomb threat, an emergency landing of Indigo plane has been made at Jaipur airport. Indigo has said in a statement that we are aware of the situation related to flight number 6E98 coming from Daman to Lucknow. The safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority and we are working closely with the relevant authorities and taking all necessary precautions as per the guidelines. Let us tell you that this plane was coming to Lucknow from Saudi Arabia. Let us tell you that earlier on October 14, a threat was given to blow up two Indigo planes with bombs. Let us tell you that the numbers of the flights which were threatened to be bombed were 6E56 and 6E1275. Let us tell you that the first flight was going from Mumbai to Jeddah. The second flight was going from Mumbai to Muscat. Let us tell you that a threat was given to blow up these planes with bombs.
I have received threats before too
Giving information, IndiGo spokesperson said that flight 6E 1275 from Mumbai to Muscat had received a bomb threat. As per protocol, the flight was diverted to a separate bay, and following the Standard Operating Procedure, mandatory security checks were immediately initiated. Further Indigo spokesperson said that the second Indigo flight number 6E56 going from Mumbai to Jeddah has also received a bomb threat. As per protocol, the aircraft was moved to an isolated location and mandatory security checks were immediately initiated, following standard operating procedures.
