New Delhi: Bihar’s ruling Janata Dal (United) has criticized Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal for his statement regarding the people of Purvanchal. JDU said on Thursday that Arvind Kejriwal’s repeated insult to the people of Purvanchal is unbearable. For this he should immediately apologize. JDU further said that the people of Purvanchal will pay the bill for this insult in the Delhi Assembly elections. This reaction of JDU came after Kejriwal’s statement in which he accused BJP of rigging the voter list in New Delhi Assembly constituency and lodged a complaint with the Election Commission.
Kejriwal accused of adding new names
Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that people associated with BJP have applied to add names of 13,000 new voters in the voter list. He has sought to cancel 5,500 voter entries to influence voting in his favour. BJP national president J. P. Nadda has shared a video on social media platform ‘X’. In this, while talking to the media, Kejriwal can be heard saying, “In the last 15 days, 13,000 applications for making votes have come. Apparently, these people are getting fake votes by bringing people from UP, Bihar and surrounding states.”
Sanjay Jha said- Delhi is not your property
Hitting back at the former Delhi Chief Minister, JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Jha asked him why he hates the people of Bihar-UP so much. He said on ‘X’, “You should not forget that Delhi is not your property, it is the capital of the country, and belongs to all the countrymen. “The people of Bihar-UP have achieved success not only in Delhi but across the world on the basis of their hard work and talent.” Taking a dig at Kejriwal, he said that the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ which the AAP convenor has built for himself, also has tax money from the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh living in Delhi. He said, “Your repeated insult to the people of Bihar-UP is not tolerable. You should immediately apologize.”
Insulted even during Corona period
JD(U) national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad also questioned Kejriwal as to why he repeatedly insults the people of Bihar. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that today once again he has blamed BJP for making the people of Bihar fake voters. He said that even before this, during the time of Corona, Kejriwal had accused the people of Bihar that they buy a train ticket for Rs 500 and get medical facilities worth up to Rs 5 lakh in Delhi. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said, “The process of insulting the people of Purvanchal is continuing from their side, while the people of Bihar have also made up their mind that all the people of Bihar living in Delhi will strongly support Kejriwal.” We will protest and leave no stone unturned to sink the Aam Aadmi Party.” (Input- PTI)
