New Delhi. Senior IPS officer Deepak Kumar Kedia has been awarded the ‘CA in Public Service’ award for his dedication to public service and his contribution in national security affairs. IPS Deepak Kumar Kedia was awarded the award at the World Forum of Accountants Meet organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the country’s capital Delhi. Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal presented the ‘CA in Public Service’ award to IPS Kedia. In this program, not only India but more than 40 chartered accountants from more than 40 countries participated.

President’s medal has been received on Republic Day
Senior IPS Deepak Kumar Kedia has recently been awarded the President’s Medal for the Distinguished Service on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January. Which is a very big achievement in itself. Apart from this, IPS Kedia has received many awards.

IG Deepak Kumar Kedia, IG of NSG, is full of degrees. He has also served in the financial sector before joining the police service. He has also worked with the Steel Authority of India (SAIL) and Rourkela Steel Plant in the Finance and Accounts Department. Deepak Kumar Kedia has a degree of Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) and Bachelor of Law (LLB). Apart from this, he has also obtained a masters degree from the International Anti Corruption Academy, Vienna, Austria, while studying anti -corruption law.
