This new rule of Tatkal ticket booking will be applicable from July 1. From July 1, your account will be linked to Aadhaar to book Tatkal tickets from IRCTC IRCTC website or app. Without Aadhaar and IRCTC account link, you will not be able to book Tatkal tickets from the website or app. The reason for this is that while booking Tatkal tickets, you will have to give OTP related to Aadhaar. If the Aadhaar and IRCTC account are not link, then the OTP will not come.
If your IRCTC account is not linked to Aadhaar, then do this work immediately. During this time many users may also face problems. If I do not match the name, date of birth and address Vagaira Aadhaar in IRCTC account, then you will not be able to link both. Such users can fix the information by going to their account of IRCTC. If you are not able to do this, then create a new account of IRCTC and you will be easy to link Aadhaar to it. IRCTC has said that the user whose Aadhaar link will be, will be able to get 24 tickets in a month. Otherwise, only 12 tickets in a month will be able to book only from IRCTC website or app.
To link Aadhaar to IRCTC account, first on your phone or computer www.irctc.co.in Have to open Log into your IRCTC account in the website. After that, Authenticate User will have to be selected by going to My account. After this you will see your profile. You have to give your own Aadhaar number in your profile. You will have an OTP to verify the details. After entering this OTP, after reading the check box, you have to press the submit button. You will get a message when the outhikation is correct. Do this work soon. Because it will not be possible to get Tatkal tickets without Aadhaar link as soon as July starts.
