Stampede at New Delhi railway station
The Supreme Court recently refused to consider a petition related to a stampede at New Delhi railway station. The petition claimed that more than 200 people died in the stampede. Court should issue guidelines for officers on the issue of mob control. Justice BR Gawai and Justice P.K. Mishra’s bench asked the lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner, “Is there any proof of the death of 200 people?”
Those people can turn to court- Supreme Court
