New Delhi. ISRO has prepared to perform the miracle of connecting two vehicles in space. ISRO has given the latest update in this regard. On December 30, 2024, ISRO sent two spacecraft under the SpaDeX mission to space using the PSLV C-60 rocket. Both the vehicles were launched into space at an interval of 3 seconds. After which the spacecraft of Spadex mission are circling the Earth following each other. ISRO has now given the latest update that its scientists have succeeded in bringing the vehicles to a distance of first 15 meters and then 3 meters from each other. After this the distance between the vehicles was again increased. It is believed that ISRO scientists will soon perform the miracle of connecting the vehicles.

Earlier, ISRO had told that the vehicles sent under the Spadex mission would be connected on January 7, 2025, but some technical problems had arisen in it. After which the date of January 9 was fixed for the work of connecting the two Spadex vehicles. When the vehicles were being brought closer to each other to connect, there was some excessive deviation in one of the vehicles. Because of this, on January 9, ISRO had rejected the plan to connect the vehicles. After this, ISRO scientists succeeded in correcting the deviation and bringing them to a distance of first 15 meters and then 5 meters. The vehicles will be brought to an even shorter distance before connecting. After that, ISRO scientists will do the work of connecting the vehicles by controlling the relative motion between the two.

Spadex mission is very important for ISRO. With success in this mission, India will become the fourth country after America, Russia and China to acquire such technology. For this reason ISRO scientists do not want to take any risk. He wants ISRO’s Spadex mission to be successful at any cost. ISRO scientists have also corrected the deviation of the vehicles.
