The last date for Indian citizens to link their PAN with Aadhaar card has been fixed as December 31. Officials have informed that PAN and Aadhaar card are often misused and innocent citizens have to suffer the consequences. To avoid such troubles to the citizens, it has been decided to link PAN card and Aadhar card.

It has been informed by the Government of India that the last date for linking PAN card and Aadhaar card has been fixed as 31 December 2024. If a person does not link his PAN card, his PAN card will be deactivated.
What will be the process to link PAN card and Aadhaar card?
Talking about the process of linking PAN card and Aadhaar card, one will have to go to the official Income Tax e-filing website. Then click on ‘Quick Links’ option. Then select ‘Link Aadhaar Status’. With this you will be able to check your linking status and then complete the process by entering your details.
