Why should you update Aadhaar?

Proof of identity and address: Ration card, voter ID, passport. For identity only: PAN card, driving license, school mark sheet. For address only: electricity bill, water bill, bank passbook.
How to update Aadhaar for free?
myAadhaar Portal Go to . Login and verify your details. Click on the address update option. Upload the scanned copy of the document and give consent. Fee: Rs 50 (It’s free till 14 September 2024!). Get a Service Request Number (SRN) to track the status of the update.
How to update mobile number?
To update your mobile number, you will have to go to the nearest Aadhaar centre. You will not need any documents for this, but biometric verification is a must. The fee for updating your mobile number is only Rs 50.
