He said that the opposition is doing politics of appeasement and those who protest on the basis of merit are not talking.

In fact, there is a discussion that arrangements are being made to include women in boards across the country through the Waqf Amendment Bill. Apart from this, there is a system to keep two members of other religions in Waqf boards through the bill. It is on this that AIMPLB, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind and other Muslim organizations are furious. They allege that the Modi government wants to capture the assets of Waqf. At the same time, the Waqf boards have also been accused that they are unconstitutional and are describing the entire village and even 1500 year old temple, Surat Municipal Corporation, Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi, Prayagraj Kumbh Mela’s land and even Parliament as their own. According to the Waqf Act, the dispute over the land can also be settled not in any court, but in the board’s tribunal. In such a situation, the Modi government is bringing a Waqf amendment bill to solve all the issues.
