Jagdeep Dhankar Expressed Displeasure Over Supreme Court's Comment Directing The President: Jagdeep Dhankad expresses resentment over the Supreme Court's remarks directing the President of the Supreme Court.

New Delhi. India’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankad has expressed displeasure by the Supreme Court itself in which the President was directed. In fact, the Supreme Court has set a deadline for the President and the governors to approve the bills. On this, the Vice President, using strict words for the judiciary, said that we cannot create a situation where the courts give instructions to the President. He also said that Article 142 of the Constitution, which gives special rights to the Supreme Court, has become a nuclear missile available twenty -four hours for the judiciary against democratic forces.

While ordering a petition filed by the Tamil Nadu government, the Supreme Court had said that the Governor would have to take a decision on the bill sent by the Legislative Assembly within a month. Along with this, the Supreme Court also set a time limit for the President and said that the President will have to take a decision on a bill in 3 months. If there is a delay in decision making on the bill, then the reason will have to be given. The Tamil Nadu government in the Supreme Court had said in its petition that Governor R.N. Ravi has stopped many essential bills of the state.

After which the bench of Supreme Court Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan had said, the Governor has no veto power. At the same time, the Supreme Court had asked for the President that if a bill is sent to the President and the President does not agree with him, he sends him back for reconsideration but once after that, when the bill comes back to the President, he will have to take a final decision on it. The process of returning the bill repeatedly has to be stopped and cannot hang it for a long time.
