Jaishankar Clarified India's Stand: Jayashankar made it clear about Indus Water Treaty, PoK, Kashmir, Terrorism About Donald Trump's Claim

New Delhi. India Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar clarified India’s stand on the ban on Pakistan, Indus Water Treaty, Terrorism, PoK and Kashmir issue. At the same time, US President Donald Trump also spoke on trade and tariff claims with India. Jaishankar said that on the morning of May 7, we held Pakistan accountable through Operation Sindoor. As far as Kashmir is concerned, there will be talk on bilateral issue with Pakistan, in which no third intervention will be tolerated. This is our opinion for the last several years and there has not been any change in it. Pakistan will have to vacate PoK.

The Foreign Minister said that Prime Minister Modi has made it clear that talks with Pakistan will be held only on terrorism and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). Pakistan will have to close the infrastructure of terrorism. We are ready to discuss how to take action on terrorism. He clearly stated that the Indus water agreement with Pakistan will remain canceled until Pakistan takes strict action against terrorism and completely ends the relationship with terrorists. Jaishankar said, India’s zero tolerance policy against terrorism is also seen by the world. He said that India also received global support in action against terrorism. We had the proposal of the United Nations Security Council that criminals should be held accountable.

The Foreign Minister said, talks are going on between India and America regarding trade and tariffs. This is a complex process. It is our expectation that any business deal should be mutually beneficial, any trade deal should be effective for both countries. Till this does not happen, it is too early to say anything on it.
