'Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari' Scheme: PM Narendra Modi launched 'Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari' campaign, know what will be the benefit of this

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the ‘Jal Sanchay Janbhagidari’ campaign in Surat, Gujarat. The objective of the ‘Jal Sanchay Janbhagidari’ campaign is to make the society aware of water conservation and to increase people’s participation in water conservation. While addressing the program, the PM said, “There is hardly any area in the country that has not had to face the crisis of this calamity due to the rains that took place in every corner of the country in the past few days. I was the Chief Minister of Gujarat for many years but I had never heard or seen such heavy rains in so many tehsils at the same time. But this time a very big crisis came in Gujarat. The strength of all the systems was that we were able to stand in front of this fury of nature. The people of Gujarat have their own nature, the nature and ability of the countrymen is that in times of crisis, everyone helps everyone shoulder to shoulder.

PM said, even today there are many parts of the country which are facing problems due to terrible conditions. Water conservation is not just a policy, it is also an effort and in a way, it is also a virtue. It includes both generosity and responsibility. Modi said that when our future generations will evaluate us, our attitude towards water will probably be their first parameter, because it is not just a question of resources, but a question of the future of life and humanity, so water conservation is the first resolution among the nine resolutions that we have put forward for a sustainable future. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that a unique campaign of water conservation and nature conservation is going on in India with public participation and public movement. Today, I am feeling very happy while launching the ‘Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari’ campaign.
