In Chandausi, Civil Judge Senior Division Aditya Singh has ordered a survey from the Court Commissioner of Sambhal’s Jama Masjid. In fact, Mahant Rishiraj Giri has petitioned the court that Sambhal’s Jama Masjid was built by Mughal emperor Babar after demolishing the Sri Harihar temple.
Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain had filed an application in the court on behalf of the Hindu side on Tuesday afternoon itself. After hearing which the court had ordered a survey. The Hindu side also says that there is a belief about Shri Harihar Temple that the tenth Kalki incarnation of Lord Vishnu is to be born here in Kaliyuga. During the survey of Jama Masjid of Sambhal, apart from lawyers from Hindu and Muslim sides, administration officers were also present. At the same time, the Muslim side did not allow Mahant Rishiraj Giri to enter the mosque. On the other hand, when the court formed a commission on the petition of the Hindu side and ordered a survey of Jama Masjid, all the people from the Muslim side gathered in front of the mosque and started raising slogans. Sambhal SP KK Bishnoi explained to the people and removed them from the spot. According to Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain, the survey will be conducted in a non-invasive manner in Sambhal’s Jama Masjid. That means no demolition will be done here. This survey is expected to continue even today.
