Security forces have got a major success in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. A total of three Pakistani terrorists have been killed by security forces under ‘Operation Chhatru’ released in the area. Despite bad weather, this campaign continues for the fourth consecutive day.
The security forces had piled up a terrorist under the operation on Friday. After this, two more terrorists were killed on Saturday. The army said that a large amount of war materials including AK-47 rifle, M4 rifle have been recovered from the slain terrorists.
Sridhar Patil, DIG of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban range, informed that intensive search and campaign is being conducted in the area for the last three days. He said, “This operation has been going on for three days and has still been going on. A terrorist was killed in the morning and the rest of the terrorists are stranded in the area. The operation will continue until all the terrorists are finished, the operation will continue.”
All the details related to the operation are not being shared due to security reasons, but the authorities have assured that the army’s campaign will continue till the terrorists are eliminated.
Meanwhile, Northern Army Commander Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar praised White Knight Corps for the successful campaign on Friday. The statement released by the Northern Command said, “White Knight Corps is appreciated for his quick action and accurate implementation in killing a terrorist in the ongoing campaign in Kishtwar.
