Deepak Chimangakham, BSF jawan
New Delhi: Another soldier was killed in a firing crossed by Pakistan in Jammu region a day earlier. The Border Security Force (BSF) gave this information on Sunday. Border Security Force (BSF) said in a post on social media, “Constable Deepak Chimangakham was seriously injured during a cross -border firing on the international border in RS Pura area of Jammu district on 10 May and received martyrdom on 11 May.”
Eight soldiers were injured
The post said that BSF Director General and all officers express their deep condolences to their family. Eight BSF’s 7th Battalion personnel were injured in the shelling conducted by Pakistan on Saturday, in which Sub -Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz was later martyred.
For Imtiaz, a wreath was laid with full military honors at the BSF Frontier Headquarters in Palora, Jammu on Sunday. His last rites will be performed on Monday in his native village Narayanpur in Saran district of Bihar. A wreath will be paid at BSF’s Frontier Headquarters on Monday in honor of Chimangakham.
Inspector and constable died during treatment
Let us know that eight BSF personnel were injured in Pakistani shelling along the international border in the RS Pura sector of Jammu. He was admitted to a military hospital where BSF Sub Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz died during treatment. Later BSF’s constable Deepak Chimangakham also died. In Rajouri, Jammu, Additional District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar Thapa and two members of his staff were seriously injured in the city (Thapa’s) residence due to a ball fall. All were taken to the Government Medical College, where Thapa succumbed. Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, was killed in Pakistani shelling near his post in Krishna Valley sector of Poonch on Saturday morning.
