In India, cases of road accidents due to people driving drunk are continuously increasing. The adolescent boys driving drunk have caused deadly road accidents, which have suffered innocent passers or passengers. The sad thing is that the victims often belong to the social class separate from the drivers.

In a tragic incident on Thursday morning, two people were killed, while three others, including a pregnant woman and a child, were injured when a 19 -year -old young man drunk in Janakpuri, West Delhi collided with two bicycles and then entered a slum on the roadside.
Police told PTI that Kishore Harsh Sehrawat was searching for a dhaba when he lost control of the vehicle. He is a resident of Pochanpur village in Dwarka. His driving license was recovered and found that he was drunk.
Sharing more information about the incident, locals alleged that one of the cyclists was dragged for more than 300 meters under the car wheels and stopped the car only after hitting the slum.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Vichitra Veer told PTI that the dead have been identified as 45 -year -old Aneesh Ansari and 35 -year -old Phool Singh. Singh’s wife, 25 -year -old Soni and five -year -old nephew Vishal were injured in the incident. Kuldeep (28) also suffered injuries.
The DCP said, “According to the facts in the investigation so far, Harsh was driving a Swift car and his friend Pankaj was sitting with him. He was coming from Gurugram after attending a ceremony.”

Vadodara car accident: March 2025
On March 14, a drunken driver hit four people in a drug addiction in a terrible road accident in Vadodara, Gujarat, killing a woman, while three others were seriously injured.
The deceased woman was identified as Hemani Patel, who was allegedly gone out to buy the colors of Holi with her minor daughter. Three others, including the child, were taken to a nearby hospital after emergency services reached the spot.
A video surfaced from the accident site, in which accused Rakshit Chaurasia is shown exiting the car after the accident and repeatedly shouting “another round”. The injured were scattered on the ground, while passers -by tried to catch him. Chaurasia was later taken into police custody.
After the initial investigation, it was discovered that Chaurasia was driving a car at a speed of 120 kmph, when he hit the vehicle four people. Chaurasia’s co-warrior, Meet Chauhan, who was the owner of the car and the second accused in the case, was also arrested.
Pune Porsche accident: May 2024
On May 19, 2024, the news of a deadly Porsche car accident in Pune was in the news for several weeks, when a 17 -year -old boy drunk in Kalyani Nagar killed two motorcycles riding two IT professionals. After several rounds of investigation, his father Vishal Aggarwal was also arrested in the case, who was identified as a major real estate developer.
Further investigation revealed many more wrongdoing including the exchange of minor blood signs, due to which the doctors – Dr. Ajay Tavre and Dr. Srihari Halanore and an employee of Sasoon were arrested. Earlier, the Pune police had filed a 900 -page charge sheet against the seven arrested accused.
Bengaluru Hit-Run: November 2024
In a tragic incident similar to Porsche Hit-Run case in Pune, a 30-year-old woman named Sandhya was hit by Mercedes Benz on November 5, 2024 in Kengei, Bengaluru. According to the report, the injured 20 -year -old man was not in good condition.
According to the report, this fatal accident occurred when the woman was trying to cross the road and a 20 -year -old driver Dhanush, who was drunk, lost control of the vehicle and hit the woman.
The Kengeri Traffic Police allegedly arrested Dhanush after trying to flee the spot as he was caught by passers -by and allegedly beaten him. He has been sent to 14 days judicial custody on charges of culpable homicide.
DU student dies in Delhi car accident: September, 2024
On September 19, 2024, in a deadly accident near Rajghat in North Delhi, a 19 -year -old Delhi University student died, while four of his friends were injured, when their high speed SUV collided with a railing, which entered the vehicle. It is reported that he was returning after celebrating Guru Tina’s birthday.
Police said the Hyundai car was running at a very fast speed, when the driver lost control, after which the car climbed the divider at the main road and ISBT intersection and hit the railing.
The police suspect that the students were intoxicated. However, one of the four injured students said that the student driving the car was distracted while changing the songs on their mobile phones. According to the police, the accident occurred between Shanti One Red Light and Geeta Colony. The five friends went to Pub Ji Town in Gurugram to celebrate their friend’s birthday on Wednesday.
