No party got majority in Jharkhand in 2019. After this JMM formed the government with Congress and RJD. This time BJP is in the election campaign to remove the JMM led grand alliance government. BJP has accused JMM President and CM Hemant Soren of corruption and settling Bangladeshi infiltrators in the tribal Santhal Pargana area. Raising many other issues, BJP has appealed to the people to remove the Grand Alliance from power in Jharkhand. At the same time, Hemant Soren and other leaders of the Grand Alliance are once again claiming to form their government in the state, taking on the BJP.
