Who is Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai?
Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai became MP in 2014 by winning the election from Koderma seat of Jharkhand on BJP ticket. Rai had been the president of Jharkhand BJP once before. There was talk for some days that Rai was seeking ticket from Giridih in the current assembly elections. But due to dissatisfaction over not getting the ticket, he may leave BJP. Recently, BJP’s co-in-charge for Jharkhand elections and Assam CM Himanta Biswa had gone to meet Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai at his house. Now it is also believed that to remove Rai’s resentment, BJP has made him the working president.
