The Joint Parliamentary Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 on the ‘one nation, one election’. According to the report, the meeting will be held from 10 am to 5 pm.
According to ANI report, the first session of JPC will hold talks with Justice Hemant Gupta. Subsequently, former Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Justice SN Jha, former Judge of Supreme Court and 21st Law Commission Chairman Justice BS Chauhan and Rajya Sabha member and senior advocate Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi will be a session.
Talking to news agency ANI, Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) Chairman PP Chaudhary mentioned the launch of the website and said – “The committee decided on two key things – advertisements will be printed in all languages so that all stakeholders can give their opinion … Secondly, the website will facilitate taking input from all stakeholders … The website is being investigated by the General Secretary … The website is not investigating the development of the website … The website will be launched soon with QR code facility and MPs will be reviewed … “
The last meeting of JPC was held on 25 March and it lasted for five hours. During this meeting, PP Chaudhary reiterated that one nation is in the best interest of the country.
