Shahdol. Civil Judge (Junior Division) Aditi Sharma has resigned from the post in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. Aditi has resigned against the appointment of a senior judge of Madhya Pradesh in the High Court of the state. Aditi accused the senior judge to be promoted and misbehaved. In her resignation, Aditi has raised serious questions on the judiciary. He has written that I am resigning for the reward given to the judge who is an injustice to me. Aditi has sent resignation to the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court on 28 July. He wrote in the resignation that I was not but the institute failed me.
Aditi has written in the resignation that what she accused was not anonymous. He has written that on the basis of facts and documents, the victim woman spoke courageously, but neither the accused was given any notice nor any investigation or hearing. Aditi Sharma has written that the accused judge has now been awarded the title of Justice, which is an insult to the word. Aditi has written that the judge related to the intention of vengeance started an investigation against him. On the basis of which he was dismissed. Aditi has said that she had sought justice, not a revenge.
Aditi further wrote that the judiciary, which talked about transparency, could not follow the main principle of natural justice. He chose strength instead of truth. Aditi has asked what message does the judiciary give to daughters to bear the attack, humiliate and destroy, because they trusted the system to protect? Aditi has also written in her resignation that there was also allegations of caste harassment and public humiliation, threats against the persecuting judge. 6 women junior division civil judges, including Aditi Sharma, were dismissed in 2023 on the basis of poor performance. The Supreme Court, taking cognizance of this, ordered the restoration of Aditi Sharma and another judge to be restored on 28 February 2025. The judge who was accused of harassment by Aditi Sharma was approved to appoint a judge in the Madhya Pradesh High Court in the past.
