New Delhi. The report of the internal inquiry committee of three judges has been sent to the President against Justice Yashwant Verma surrounded by the cash scandal. Supreme Court Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna has also sent Justice Verma’s reply to President Draupadi Murmu along with the investigation report. It is believed that on the basis of the report of the President’s Investigation Committee, it will decide what action should be taken on this matter. Although the investigation report has been kept confidential so far, the media report is expressing the possibility that the committee has found Justice Verma guilty.

Earlier, on the basis of sources, it was claimed that after seeing the investigation report, CJI Justice Sanjeev Khanna gave Justice Yashwant Verma the option to resign. He was asked to either resign himself, otherwise the investigation report for impeachment against him will be sent to the President. A three -member committee was formed by Justice Verma Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Justice GS Sandhawalia and Karnataka High Court Judge Anu Shivraman. The committee submitted its report to CJI Sanjeev Khanna on 5 May.
Please tell that a fire broke out at the government residence of Justice Verma in Delhi at the time of Holi. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters found a large number of burnt notes from a store room. After this, Justice Verma was engulfed in controversies and he was transferred from Delhi High Court to his original court Allahabad High Court. CJI constituted an inquiry committee against Justice Verma. The CJI has banned any type of judicial work of Justice Verma.
