Hisar. The Hisar Police has received 4 days remand from YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, accused in the alleged espionage scandal. Earlier, the court gave Jyoti Malhotra’s 5 -day remand to Hisar police. The Hisar police had issued a press note on Wednesday that Jyoti Malhotra was mainly questioning the same. Apart from this, other agencies are also interrogating Jyoti Malhotra, accused of espionage scandal. The Hisar police had told in the press note that all the news that is coming about Jyoti Malhotra in the media is usually not correct. Hisar police say that the news about Jyoti Malhotra should be given only after confirmation from the police.

Jyoti Malhotra was arrested by Hisar Police on 16 May 2025. Jyoti Malhotra has been accused of spying for Pakistan. Actually, it was revealed that Jyoti Malhotra had a conversation with Ahsan ur Rehman alias Danish working in the Pakistani High Commission. Jyoti Malhotra also visited Pakistan several times. There he made travel videos and uploaded on YouTube. Recently, the Government of India asked Danish to leave the country. Only after this, many people, including Jyoti Malhotra and another woman Ghazala, were arrested on charges of espionage.
Jyoti Malhotra also made a video on the Pahalgam massacre before his arrest. In that video, Jyoti Malhotra questioned the security system as well as the tourists who went there responsible for this incident. Jyoti Malhotra said in the video that tourists going to Pahalgam should also have been careful. Now after getting Jyoti Malhotra and 4 days remand, the links are expected to be resolved in this case. Hisar police has given 2 phones and laptops of Jyoti Malhotra for forensic examination. If any digital evidence is found from these devices, Jyoti Malhotra can be difficult.
