New Delhi. To make the 100th birth anniversary of Raj Kapoor, known as the ‘Show Man’ of Hindi cinema, special, his family met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this special occasion, the entire Kapoor family reached Delhi. After the meeting, Kareena Kapoor shared pictures on Instagram, which are becoming increasingly viral on social media. Ranbir Kapoor said that he was very nervous about meeting PM Modi. He told that he was not able to understand what he would say after meeting the PM. On this, PM Modi smiled and told him, “You can say whatever you want, I am also a part of your family.”

During this meeting, Raj Kapoor’s daughter Reema Kapoor recited a line from her father’s famous song ‘Pyaar Hua, Iqraar Hua’ from the film Shree 420. She said, “Today I am remembering this line from Papa’s film – ‘I will not stay, you will not stay, still there will be traces.'”
Raj Kapoor’s film festival
Ranbir Kapoor told that a special film festival is being organized to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of showman Raj Kapoor. This festival will run from 13 to 15 December 2024, in which 10 of his famous films will be shown in 135 theaters in 40 cities across the country. His influence on Hindi cinema will be remembered in this event. Many members of the Kapoor family including Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were present in this special meeting.
