New Delhi. In the Congress government of Karnataka, the ongoing dispute over changing the Chief Minister is not being intercepted. Now MLA CP Yogeshwar has given the matter air once again through his statement. He said that most of the Congress MLAs want Siddaramaiah to be removed and DK Shivkumar should be replaced by DK Shivkumar. He said that most of the party MLAs are united to make DK Shivkumar the CM. However, he also said that the final decision will be of the party high command.
CP Yogeshwar, while supporting the claim of his fellow Congress MLA Iqbal Hussain, said that more than 100 MLAs of the party are with Deputy CM Shivkumar. Let us tell you that a few days ago, Iqbal Hussain claimed that in two-three months, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah can be removed and Deputy CM DK Shivkumar can be made the new Chief Minister of Karnataka. Along with this, he also spoke about the support of 100 MLAs in this case. Prior to him, Karnataka government minister KN Rajanna had said that after September, there can be a big change in the politics of Karnataka.
Amidst all this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said that whether the CM face will be changed or not, who will be the Chief Minister, this party is in the hands of the high command. With this, he advised party leaders to avoid unnecessary rhetoric. Due to this type of rhetoric by party leaders, the Congress high command sent Randeep Surjewala to Karnataka to calm the controversy. Surjewala took a press conference with DK Shivkumar and announced that the Chief Minister in the state would not be changed. After this, CM Siddaramaiah, while answering the questions of journalists, claimed that I will be the Chief Minister of the state for five years. It was believed that perhaps the dispute is over now.
