New Delhi. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s legal troubles are increasing. The Public Representative Court has given instructions to register an FIR against him. The court has ordered the Mysore Lokayukta police to investigate the matter and submit a report within three months. This case is related to the petition of Snehamayi Krishna, in which a land scam has been alleged. Court judge Santosh Gajanan Bhat said in his decision that the High Court has already ordered an investigation in this case. In the petition, questions were raised about the land purchased from a person named Devaraj, who was not the real owner.

The High Court had also rejected the petition
Earlier, on September 24, Siddaramaiah had also received a setback from the High Court in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case. The High Court rejected his petition and said that a case will be filed against Siddaramaiah in the land scam. Actually, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot had given approval for investigation against the Chief Minister, which Siddaramaiah had challenged in the High Court.
There may also be a demand for a CBI inquiry
The lawyer of the other side says that if they are not satisfied with the Lokayukta investigation, they can demand a CBI investigation. However, the Chief Minister’s camp is hoping that relief will be obtained from the double bench. But if relief is not obtained from there also, then the Supreme Court will be approached. At present, Siddaramaiah has not expressed any intention to resign.
