Fierce road accident in Kalburgi, Karnataka
A van collided with a truck parked near the Nelogi Cross in Kalburgi, Karnataka, resulting in five people killed and 11 others injured. All the deceased were residents of Bagalkot district. The injured were admitted to Kalburgi Hospital and Kalburgi Superintendent of Police A.K. Srinivasulu investigated the incident and registered a case at Nelogi police station.
According to the information, the incident took place near the Nelogi Cross in Kalburgi district at around 3:30 pm on Saturday morning, in which a van collided with a truck parked on the road. As soon as the incident was reported, Kalburgi Superintendent of Police A Srinivasulu reached the spot with the entire team and investigated the case. The police have registered a case at Nelogi police station.
Accident occurred while going to Khwaja Bande Dargah
It is being said that a Maxicab (TT) collided with the back of the standing lorry, killing five people. The names of the deceased are Wajid, Mahboobi, Priyanka and Mehboob, who died on the spot. The injured were admitted to Kalburgi’s GIMS Hospital for treatment. All the deceased are originally from Bagalkot district. The accident occurred when they were going to Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah in Kalburgi.
