Now Karnataka’s Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar has given a controversial statement on this matter. They have said that such incidents happen in big cities. On the other hand, BJP has condemned the statement of the Karnataka Home Minister.

According to media reports, when reporters questioned the Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar about the incident of molestation, he said that the police have registered a case and started investigation. Strict action will be taken against the convict. He said that I have instructed the police to increase patrolling but this incidents happen in big cities. BJP spokesperson Prashant ji said that the Karnataka’s Home Minister is calling the crime committed to the woman as normal, it reflects his thinking. He alleged that the Congress government of the state is trying to avoid its responsibility.
According to Sarah Fatima, DCP of South East Bangalore, the incident is on 4 April. The police have registered an FIR under sections 74, 75, 78 of BNS and the accused is being searched. He said that with the help of CCTV, the accused will soon be arrested. On the other hand, after the CCTV video of the molestation incident went viral, people are angry about this on social media and are demanding strict punishment from the Karnataka government and the Bengaluru police to the accused. Some people are also targeting the Home Minister.
