Elephant
An elephant suddenly attacked people in Kuttnad area of Palakkad in Kerala. Elephant’s Mahavat Kunjumon died in this attack. In fact, a year -old festival was organized at a temple in Kuttnad in Palakkad. At around 10.45 minutes on Thursday night, this punishment was suddenly erupted. Mahavat Kunju Mon of this elephant tried to control him but did not succeed.
The elephant first crushed Mahavat. After that, the shops built around the temple and there were also heavy damage to the stood there. Although the elephant was somehow controlled after a long effort, Mahavat Kunjumon died after being taken to the hospital, the police have registered a mamla and started investigation.
Elderly killed in elephant attack
On 6 February (Thursday), a 60 -year -old man was killed in a wild elephant attack in Idukki district in the morning. The deceased has been identified as Vimal. According to the police, the incident took place in a tribal settlement in Champakkad under the boundary of Maryur police station. A police officer said that on receiving the information, a police team went to the area.

On 4 February (Tuesday), a person was injured by an elephant in Ilawali in Thesur district, killing him. The deceased has been identified as Anand (38), who was allegedly come to a celebration held in the temple for business objectives. This incident happened when the elephant was being bathed. According to the Powartti police, the elephant became aggressive and attacked Anand, injuring him seriously. He said that the elephant’s Mahavat also suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment in a hospital here. The elephant brought to the temple festival uncontrolled and entered a residential area. Police said that the members of the elephant squad and Mahavats made a lot of effort to control the animal.
