A YouTuber has been arrested for stopping the convoy of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi. The police gave this information on Monday.
A police official said that the Mannutthi police detained Aneesh Abraham, a resident of Elanadu in connection with the incident and was later released on bail from the police station. His car has also been confiscated.
Police sources said the incident took place at Mannutathi bypass junction at around 9.30 pm on Saturday night, when Priyanka was going from Vandur, Malappuram to Kochi Airport after attending several programs in her constituency and Malappuram district.
According to police sources, the accused allegedly stopped his car in front of his car convoy, angry at playing the horn of the vehicle involved in the security of the MP from Wayanad.
When the police team led by the sub -inspector of Mannothi tried to remove the barrier, he allegedly started quarreling with them.
Police officials said that the police have registered a case against the accused for deliberately entering the convoy, threatening the lives of the people and disregarding the instructions of the police.
