After the revelations of the Meghalaya Police over the murder of Indore transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, his father on Tuesday demanded that all the convicts of the heinous murder of his newly married son should be sentenced to death.
According to the Meghalaya police, his wife Sonam (25) was allegedly involved in the murder of transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi (29) who went to celebrate honeymoon in this northeast state, who had called three furore killers there with the help of her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha (20).
Officials said that Sonam surrendered in front of the police in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh late on Sunday night, while four accused, including Kushwaha, were arrested from different areas of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
He said that it is alleged that Sonam along with her lover Raj Kushwaha killed her husband King Raghuvanshi through the mercenaries so that she could be removed from the road.
His father Ashok Raghuvanshi, immersed in mourning from the death of King Raghuvanshi, said to “PTI-Bhasha”, “My son has died in torture. All the culprits of his murder must be hanged so that a Nazir is presented and no parents have to lose their son like this. ”
He gets emotional saying that his son returned home in the coffin to celebrate the honeymoon.
He said, “My son’s body was mutilated due to heinous murder. I am a heart patient. So, worrying about my health, my family members opened the coffin and stopped me from having a last darshan of my son. ‘
Raghuvanshi also claimed that the king’s wife Sonam killed her husband to eradicate the ‘Mangal Dosha’ of her horoscope so that she could later marry her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha.
However, local astrologer Dheeraj Dixit described this as concocted and said that his ‘Mangal Dosha’ does not disappear due to the death of a person’s spouse.
Initially, the family of Raja Raghuvanshi had questioned the Meghalaya government alleging negligence in the investigation of his murder case. However, the tone of this family has changed after the revelations of the murder.
Vipin Raghuvanshi, the elder brother of King Raghuvanshi, said that he apologizes for rhetoric against the Meghalaya government.
He said, “We did not know that the Meghalaya Police is conducting a secret campaign to catch the king’s killers.” There was no intention to discredit our Meghalaya government. We are also grateful to the Government of Madhya Pradesh for supporting in difficult times. ”
